Mark Wheeler is an engineer turned digital designer from Melbourne, Australia.

He decided to trade in the calculator and excel spreadsheets for typeface pairings and colour specs. You could say he saw the light (and colour), making the change to design. Mark has been creative since a young age, be it his interests in woodwork, craft, fashion, music, you name it, and pursuing a career in the design industry was only a matter of time.

Mark is currently working as a Digital Designer for Johnson Tiles, where his role sees him blend both marketing and design disciplines to create a wide range of design assets, and work within the marketing team to help launch marketing campaigns. He completed his Bachelor of Communication Design at Swinburne University of Technology in February of ’22. He is excited for what is to come, and eager to jump into the industry. Mark’s attention to detail, and desire to achieve beautiful results that suit both client and target audience are woven throughout his work. He is passionate about new and innovative design solutions.

Outside of the studio, Mark loves to keep his mind fresh, learning new things and is currently trying to learn piano and guitar, he will admit progress is slow but his favourite thing to play at the moment is the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song.
